Dia Mirza Slams The Rumours Of Kanika Dhillon Being The Reason For Her Separation With Sahil Sangha
Bollywood actress Dia Mirza and husband Sahil Sangha have parted their ways after knowing each other for 11 years. The duo took this decision after a mutual agreement.
Dia and Sahil got hitched in 2014 in an intimate affair. However, it came as a shock to many fans as the estranged couple had always been in love with each other and their social media posts said the same story.
They posted a note on their social media which read, “After 11 years of sharing our lives and being together, we have mutually decided to separate. We remain friends and will continue to be there for each other with love and respect.
While our journeys may lead us down different paths, we are forever grateful for the bond that we share with each other. We thank our family and our friends for all their love and understanding and members of the media for their continued support and request everyone to respect our need for privacy at this time. We will not be commenting any further on this matter. Thank you. Dia Mirza and Sahil Sangha.”
However, right after the day they announced their separation, there were speculations on the internet that the reason behind their broken marriage is because of a third person. The rumour mills suggested that the writer of ‘Judgementall Hai Kya’, Kanika Dhillon’s proximity with Sahil led to his separation with Dia.
Amidst all these speculations, the actress finally broke her silence. In a series of tweets, Dia rubbished the rumours of blaming the separation on a ‘third person.’ She said she would not ‘stand for another woman’s name being used so irresponsibly to perpetuate a lie.’
Kanika who got separated with director Prakash Kovelamudi slammed the reports for dragging her name in Dia’s separation with Sahil. The writer clarified by stating that she has never met Dia or Sahil in her entire life.
On the professional front, Dia Mirza was last seen in a web-series Kaafir. Apart from this, she also owns a production house named Born Free Entertainment with ex-husband, Sahil Sangha.
