The Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw Trailer is Here | AIB
The trailer of Hobbs & Shaw is generating all kinds of reactions and can be said to be mostly positive, although many do not hesitate to point out that it hardly seems to belong to the main saga because it is a spin-off. It belongs to the franchise but in a different narrative. It maintains contact, at least to the naked eye, only by the two protagonists of the film neither bad nor good. It may have a continuation or generate its own saga is not known yet. But the results, both box office and critic, could give a boost in one direction.
It is precisely Dwayne Johnson, who plays Luke Hobbs, who is more enthusiastic about this Fast-Furious spin-off. The actor has been posting for weeks through social networks and proudly showing some photos from the set, something that, of course, we love. The American actor of Samoan descent has always been shown in his appearances in the saga of Fast & Furious, and now, with Hobbs & Shaw, is like a fish in the water.
Complete the trio protagonist, Jason Statham, who is again Deckard Shaw, the craziest guy in the neighborhood and Idris Elba, who will make Brixton, the main antagonist in this spin-off of Fast & Furious. Finally, Vanessa Kirby will play Hattie Shaw. We still have a few months to enjoy the incessant loads of adrenaline brand of the house that Universal Pictures brings us with each installment of the Fast & Furious saga.
Note that Dwyane Johnson continues to shine in action movies. He was recently seen rescuing his family stuck in a skyscraper on fire in Skyscraper, taming a giant gorilla in Rampage or trudging through a hostile jungle in Jumanji. As for Jason Statham, he has recently fought a megalodon with bare hands in troubled waters.
Of this last one nothing has been known until now. It may be connected to other characters in the franchise, but not shown in the trailer. Nor is it expected that any other actor or actress of the same (at least important) appear, although there may always be some surprise. What is clear is that both Johnson and Stathman turn into a muscle car any car in which they are mounted, because the muscles already carry them as standard.
