The Honor 8X has gone through TENAA, the Chinese certifying company, which means that it has almost wholly, been leaked. Thanks to the filtration we have been able to know some details of the terminal that, at least for the moment, would frame it within the medium-high range. What can this device offer us? Let’s see.
According to the specification sheet that we can see in TENAA, the Honor 8X would come with a massive screen of 7.2 inches with FullHD + resolution (estimated to be about 2,280 x 1,080 pixels). At the top, we find the notch, something that has already become a standard for new Android releases. What will it do? Is it pure aesthetics or will it hide some kind of facial recognition? We do not know, for now.
As far as power is concerned, it seems that the Honor 8X would mount 4 GB of RAM with a Kirin 710 processor, a mid-range processor manufactured by Huawei. Its internal storage would be 64 GB and its battery of 4,900 mAh, a not insignificant figure considering that premium high-end devices, such as the recent Samsung Galaxy Note 9, carry 4,000.
For the camera section, the Honor 8X would incorporate a dual camera of 16 + 2 megapixels (whose manufacturers do not know) that, in theory, should serve either as a monochrome sensor or to carry out the popular portrait mode. The camera for selfies would be 8 megapixels. We also do not know the sensor model. It should be noted that, at least from what we see, the Honor 8X would have a fingerprint reader in the back. At the moment they are all leaks and rumors, so, as we always do, we will take them with tweezers.
We do not know the date of presentation or if it will be presented at some time. We can predict, based on the previous models, that Honor would present it in December of this same year, 365 days after the launch of the Honor 7X. We will be attentive to more information and leaks because the terminal and its huge screen we find really interesting.
