Being well does not mean not having problems. Being good is knowing that you can handle them. Imagine all the fine things you might be thinking if you did not have your mind occupied with all your problems.
Every time it rains, it stops doing it. Every time you hurt, you heal. After darkness, there is always light. Nothing lasts forever. If things go well now enjoy them, they will not last forever. If things are bad, do not worry because they will not last forever either.
Look at all this you have right now and not what you lost. Because it is not what the world takes away what counts, it is what you do with what you have left. Here are some things you should remember when you are going through a rough patch:
1. Pain is part of growth
Sometimes life closes us the doors because it is time to move on. And that’s fine because we often do not move if circumstances do not force us to do so. When they are difficult times, remind yourself that the pain does not come without a purpose. Heal your wounds but never forget what they taught you. Everything will come out. Maybe not immediately, but with time.
Remember that there are two types of pain: pain that hurts and pain that changes you. When you flow with life instead of resisting it, both types of pain will help you grow.
2. Worrying and complaining does not change anything
Those who complain the most are those who achieve least. It is always better to try to do something and fail than to do nothing and succeed. That does not end if you lose. It ends when you do nothing but complain about it. If you believe in something, keep trying.
Do not let the shadows of the past obscure the doors of your future. There is something very big waiting for you out there. Stop complaining about your problems and start being grateful for all the problems you do not have.
3. Every little fight is a step forward
The ability to maintain a good attitude while working on what you believe, knowing that the effort is worthwhile. So if you’re going to try it, spend time and travel all the way. Otherwise, it does not make sense for you to leave.
And if you want it you’ll get it, despite the failure and rejection. And every step forward will make you feel better than anything else you can imagine. You will realize that the struggle is not on the road, it is the road itself. And it’s worth it. So if you’re going to try, go to the end. There is no better feeling in the world than knowing what it means to be alive.
4. The negativity of others is not your problem
Do not let someone else’s bitterness change who you are. What’s more, do not ever change your mind just to impress someone who says you’re not good enough.
If you change, that is because you want to become someone better and have a brighter future. People are going to talk, regardless of what you do and how you do it. So worry about yourself before worrying about what others think. If you believe in something, do not be afraid to fight for it.
5. The best thing you can do is keep going
Do not be afraid to love again and dream again. Do not let life harden your heart. The best lessons are learned in the worst moments and the biggest mistakes.
When you feel that you are going to give up, remember things have to go very wrong before they go well. Sometimes you have to go through the worst to get to the best. Find the strength to laugh every day. Find the courage to get up and move on.
Live simple. Love without fear. Speak with the heart and work hard. If you fall short, go ahead. Get up every morning and show the world that you have a lot to contribute.
