OnePlus announced the OnePlus 5T in its latest premium flagship device. The OnePlus 5T is a refinement of the OnePlus 5, the company’s most successful product to date, offering essential hardware and software updates motivated by the active OnePlus society, including a greater resolution, 18:9 display, improved low-light camera performance, and various new software features.

The OnePlus 5T has a 6-inch Full Optic AMOLED Display with an 18:9 aspect ratio to produce a more immersive viewing experience, all while keeping a form factor similar to that of the OnePlus 5 because of built-in software algorithm. It features a new Sunlight Display that adjusts automatically to rigid light to help a great viewing experience. The larger display supports to improve the overall user experience; users can calibrate their screens based on their viewing choices across four different modes, including default, sRGB, DCI-P3 and adaptive.
To improve OnePlus 5T’s front design, OnePlus moved its fingerprint sensor (which was fast to unlock a phone in under 0.2 seconds) to the back of the device. The aluminum unibody of the OnePlus 5T is both functionally and visually slim, and comfortable to hold still remarkably durable.

The OnePlus 5T comes with a few changes; camera performance has enhanced in low-light. The OnePlus 5T main camera is same as OnePlus 5, but the company made changes in secondary camera with a large f/1.7 aperture for superior low light photography. The secondary camera merges four pixels into one, reducing noise in low-light environments and enhancing clarity. It was first introduced in OnePlus 3T.
Additional software enhancements have also been added to Portrait Mode to improve noise reduction. It is achieved through new multi-frame algorithms that analyze different frames of the same scene to filter out discrepancies and gain the overall clarity of portraits.
