Two Important Tips:
You should try and keep in touch with every topic. At this stage main focus on organic and inorganic chemistry, Mathematics and Physics are conceptual and devoting as less as an hour or two to these subjects every day should be fine.
Make short notes and highlights of chapters, concepts, and formulas. You can also buy the material from jeemain.info website, and their material is quite good. Revise complete syllabus starting with concepts you understand very well. Don’t leave any topic because some questions in the exam are very easy based on simple basic topics. Roughly one month before your exams, try to solve questions of all topics. Answer as many numerical questions as you can. Don’t work on long problems, just focus on objective questions.
So that you don’t miss anything, you should be aware of JEE Main 2018 syllabus. Solving a few problems from your notes, study material and last years papers of IIT-JEE will help you to build the confidence. Pay equal attention to all the three subjects (PCM) by devoting specific hours during the day. Keep mind fresh one day before the exam, and just study notes not the whole syllabus.
IIT-JEE includes both tough and easy questions. So if you find a question difficult in the paper, remember the majority of students would feel the same. Just avoid that question and solve easy questions first. Keep the order of subjects you are attempting the same as the one you are used to attempting at your coaching classes/practice hours. This will ensure that your mind is at ease during the exam.
Try to finish the exam 30 minutes earlier. First of all, try to attempt questions that carry more marks. This will maximize your attempt. The most important trick is trying to solve mathematics questions with the help of graphs and diagrams. Don’t attempt to answer all questions in a hurry. That will only increase errors. Follow, Golden rule, one thing at a time. Never try to attempt two problems at the same time.
Carry a wristwatch; your admit card, two pens and pencils (sharpened at both ends), an eraser, a sharpener and an additional thing you might feel necessary. But don’t carry too many things. You won’t need them.
