Don’t Waste Your Time Living Someone Else’s Life | AIB
Your time is limited, so do not spend it by living someone else’s life. Do not get stuck in dogma, which is to live like others think you should live. Do not let the noises of the opinions of others silence your inner voice. And, more importantly, dare to do what your heart and intuition tell you.
It’s time to start doing what you like, what you enjoy heart, no matter what the rest say. And for that, here are some tips:
1. Learn to say NO!
See it as something important; it means that you have to start thinking about yourselves. You may feel constrained to agree to every request, even if you are left with no time. Learning to say no can earn you respect from yourself as well those around you.
2. Do not limit yourselves!
It may be at some point in your life someone has commented that you are not good for something. And, perhaps, you internalized it, and you convinced yourself of that. If you think you are doing a wrong thing, first analyze it because you do not like it or if that is the reason. Dare to challenge the negative concept! If it’s what you want, it’s worth the effort.
3. Ask for help!
We can not always live believing we can do it all alone. From time to time we will need help (financial, emotional, medical, etc.) and that is fine. Sometimes it is necessary and does not make us insecure, but quite the opposite. Being able to recognize that you need help shows that you are clear about your strengths and weaknesses.

You need a plan and commitment to follow. With that, you will not waste a minute of your time, and you will be able to reach whatever you aim.
It is not as complex as it seems. Following our path will lead us to happiness, to being satisfied with who we are and what we have done in life. If you do what others think you should do, you will never feel full.
