Smartphone companies are now aiming at the larger base of customers with budget range phones that can deliver maximum performance from modernized chipsets and most crucially, a longer running device.

Into the addition of budget phones, Asus recently launched ZenFone 3S Max with an attractive design, and also with a qualified battery capacity within budget range.

Previously Asus has launched smartphones in Max series with a capacity of 4130mAh battery, and now continued to improve capacity on the battery, whether Asus ZenFone 3S max can compete with the smartphone-class from other manufacturers? Well, maybe you can answer after seeing the following specifications of this smartphone.

Asus ZenFone 3S Max is available in two colours Black and Gold. The Box package contains the Asus Zenfone 3S Max itself, Charging Adaptor and micro USB cable, Earphone, User Guide and Warranty Card.

Design!

The design of 3S Max feels premium with a 2.5D glass on the front and a well-rounded, sandblasted with matte finished metal back. It has a 5.2-inch screen display, and the fingerprint sensor also moved at the front of the screen, with a thinness of 8.9 mm and weighed about 175 g, overall 3S max is very comfortable when on hand and to use.

As for the volume and power buttons on the right side, at the bottom, there is an USB port while for the sim card is on the side, while at the top there is a hole 3.5mm jack for headphones.

Display! 



As we have mentioned above, the 3S Max has a 5.2-inch screen with HD IPS LCD capable of producing 16 million colors and is also equipped with 2.5D curved glass, resulting in the screen resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels with density Pixel 282 ppi. The screen is very rich in color and brightness is quite good and also works pretty well under the sun or light, we can still see the screen clearly.

Hardware and Performance!


Asus 3S Max using MediaTek MT6750 processor with Octa-core 1.5 GHz while Mali-T860MP2 GPU, indeed multitasking performance will feel smooth and better with 3 GB of ram. It has 32 GB of Internal memory, and you can add another 256GB via microSD card.

Asus ZenFone 3S Max is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that holds Micro-SIM and Nano-SIM. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB OTG, FM, 3G and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the phone include a Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope.

Camera!


The rear camera equipped with 13-megapixel sensor and dual-tone LED flash, while the front camera has an 8 MP with a unique wide-angle lens with fixed focus. The result of the camera during the day or at a full light is decent and quite satisfactory. The phone has a LED notification light, which sits next to the 5MP selfie shooter.

Software and UI!

Asus 3S Max comes out of the box with Andriod 7.0 Nougat, latest android version. It uses ZenUI 3.0 user interface comes with lots of exciting features on Asus ZenUI. The new features such as side-by-side multitasking, the simple settings panel, and bundled notifications are ready to users.

Fingerprint Scanner!


Asus ZenFone 3S Max features a Fingerprint Scanner on the rear that prevents others from accessing yours to private data. The fingerprint sensor is very active and reliable and can unlock the phone in just 0.3 seconds. You can add up to 5 Fingers prints for complete convenience.

Battery!


ZenFone 3s Max battery has a large size of 5000mAh, and of course, this is the advantage of this smartphone, the large battery is certainly proportional to its durability. Sadly, 3S Max is not yet equipped fast charging, but reportedly 3S max can standby for two days of backup on a single charge decently. You can also watch extended videos and listen to your music longer which makes this smartphone perfect for travel or if you are commonly outdoors.
