Android Co-founder Andy Rubin Launches First Smartphone | AIB

Andy Rubin, a former Google manager and founder of Android, opened a new professional and business stage with Essential Phone, his first smartphone. The device has among its main features a screen of 5.71 inches that covers practically all its front surface.

Although the official date of the sale of Essential Phone has not yet been confirmed, it can be booked through the company's website. However, for the moment Essential will only ship its products in the United States.

The starting price is $ 699 (about 627 euros), although there is a special offer by which it will be possible to purchase this smartphone and a dual camera 360º for 749 dollars (673 euros).

Precisely, the accessories are one of the highlights of the first model of the company of Rubin. This 360-degree camera has been defined by Essential as "the smallest in the world" and is incorporated into the smartphone through a magnetic attachment. Another essential phone accessory is a wireless dock for battery charging, although it retains a USB-C port.

Titanium Case And No Logo!

Andy Rubin's first mobile features an innovative casing made of titanium and ceramic. The company has defended the use of titanium instead of aluminum, more used by other brands, since it is a "harder, stronger and more elastic" material, able to withstand heavy blows without leaving marks.

Besides, Essential Phone presents the curious feature of not having brand logos anywhere on its surface. The company argues that the fact of having manufactured it does not mean that the user "has to be forced to announce this fact to the world." At Essential they are so sure that their design is resistant to scratches, bends or breaks, that they don't even think to sell protective covers.

And what do we find inside the Essential Phone?

As for the technical specifications, Essential's first smartphone shares several features that have stood out the top models in the high-end mobile market, such as the Qualcomm 835 processor, 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of file storage capacity. On the software have not given details beyond that it has Android 7.1.1 Nougat.

There is no doubt that the Essential Phone wants to stand up to the leading androids on the scene, but the company has not been so ambitious in a key point: the battery. Looking at the specifications of the device, the 3040 mAh of battery seems somewhat adjusted and does not appear to be the autonomy will be its high point.

The internal camera of the phone allows to capture, according to the company, up to 200% more luminosity in the photographs; It is a dual 13-megapixel format in the back and 8 in the front. Also, its operating system is an old acquaintance of Rubin, since its 'smartphone' will work with Android.

The Essential Phone is presented as a kind of lifeline of everything that is wrong in the mobile sector, but it is only a high end that looks very interesting.

Rubin introduces us to the Essential Phone as a sort of lifeline of all that is wrong in the mobile sector, but in reality what it is is a high end, flagship or whatever we want to call it, and it is all the levels.

It has an up-to-date design with sturdy materials, very advanced specifications and even offers the possibility of using modular accessories - yes yes, for the creator of Android, we expected a greater role to the software. Compelling performances, no doubt, but nothing that other brands did not make a front line.

Newborn Walks and His 'Outing' Becomes Viral | AIB

First-time parents face their baby's first time as a great feat to remember for life. His first smiles, his first words, his first steps, etc. All these processes have their time and their preparation.

However, in this video, the astonishing is the speed of this newborn to take its first steps. Babies start walking, usually at birth, but this video recorded in a hospital in Brazil shows how a child, a few minutes after being born, with the help of the health staff, stay in and take their first steps.

The little boy takes his first walk while the nurse prepares him for the bath. The strange case has surprised social networks, who have shared this kind moment and have shown their bewilderment at what the baby has achieved.

New Born Baby Walking!
Immediately the video published on YouTube, where it has had great acceptance among Internet users, as it has been highly commented and shared in social networks. Although there were also many people, who assured that this video would be false.

It should be noted that this video has more than 74+ million views and close to 1.5+ million comments. However, many believe that it would be something armed by the same hospital because it is unknown in what place these events occurred.

The video that has revolutionized social networks shows a child, a few minutes after birth, taking his first steps. To the astonishment of all present, the newborn manages to stand and places his feet in a position to walk.

I wanted to share it for two reasons: one so you can see it because it's too cool to see a baby walk. Yes, it amazes, and a lot, and most mothers and fathers seems a precious moment to see and remember because it is something that will be a long time without doing; Until they can walk.

And two, I did research on this. It is not a strange case, the medical team is not surprised, and yes, it is very habitual, because of all the babies, sooner or later, they do it. In fact, if a child does not, particular attention is paid to other reflexes and their general condition, because of their having some problem.

Here I leave you with more videos in which the Reflection of the March is observed so that you see that it is an entirely reasonable representation:
And here another. The moment a baby's feet hit a hard surface, the walking reflex is activated:
How funny the babies are walking, right?

Google Maps Update Comes With New Notifications And Best Improvements | AIB

The latest Google Maps update began recently to be deployed among users using the beta channel without any significant changes. However, in the APK of the application if you have been able to see some clues on the new functions that will bring Google maps shortly. Freshly, Google Maps released a new update for its users, with version 9.54.

Some clues in the APK indicates that Google Maps allow us to keep more useful destinations such as home or work. Places we go to frequently and that we could register to get from anywhere. It also looks like there will be support for Android O notification channels or even a to-do list within the app.

Two new features could appear on Google Maps to register the gym and school. They would be added to the ones that the application already counts that allow a fast navigation to go home or work. They are saved locations by default that it seems that Google adds to make our day to day easier and that reaching common destinations does not require having to enter one address at a time.

Two new icons, one with the shape of a mortarboard and the other with the shape of weight, that would allow fast routes to these places and that the user should not necessarily link with the school but perhaps with an academy or any other destination that he usually uses.

Notification channels in Google Maps also prepare for the arrival of Android O. Google Maps, as explained from the Android Police, will have a notification channel on Android Or called "other notifications." It is not known at the moment whether it will be the only custom channel for Maps or new ones will arrive. Everything seems to indicate that this is just a test and the team working on the app are looking to make a wise decision to organize the notifications.

Among the functions that also seem to arrive soon, according to the information consulted, also appears a list of tasks. A pair of designs under the name "needs near" in one of them and with the quick format. It seems to point out that Google Maps could incorporate the possibility of making lists of tasks so that you can go from one place to another quickly and without losing you.

For example, this last option would be useful if you have to go to pick up your children to school, the mechanic, to make the purchase in a hypermarket and to go home. With this list, you could draw a route that would make the journey simpler and increase productivity and speed.

Last but not least, the latest promo is dedicated to the Local Guides Program. It prompts people to contribute to Maps in exchange for some points. The fascinating thing about the promos is the fact that their names contain “v2”, which might mean they are planning for a new promo set.

Sculpture Parks That Will Surprise You In Oslo | AIB

Vigeland Park Oslo is undoubtedly the best-known city in the world, with its powerful baby and his imposing monolith dominating the surroundings. Not for nothing, it is one of the most visited tourist attractions in Norway.

But on your visit to Oslo, you can not miss other sculpture parks, which tell a lot about the city's development in the last decades and that has shaped it as it stands today in our eyes: full of art and places to enjoy the Outdoors, whatever time of year it is.

Oslo Vigeland Park

In the month of January, frosty but sunny morning. The lake will be frozen and a thin layer of frost frozen runs through the ground, grass, bronze sculptures. Vigeland Park greets us brilliantly to receive the year. Each sculpture attracts us like a magnet, and we do not want to get away from them, at least until we have captured their gestures, their posture and all the tension of their muscles.

It is the work of Gustav Vigeland (1869-1943) and the Vigelandsparken, also designed by him, houses more than 200 bronze, granite and wrought iron sculptures. It is located inside the Frognerparken, located to the west of the center of Oslo and occupies about 32 hectares.

You're faced with sculptures of realistic bodies that make you travel through all ages, from childhood to old age and beyond, transmitting us intense sensations of memory, of the mirror, of precognition. Frozen moments in the bronze of a mane that flies in the wind, arms holding the baby, the furrowed frown of the tantrum, the joy of the infant play, the loving embrace, the coming decrepitude.

Keep these original sculptures, but if something stands out as soon as you enter the park, even if you see it in the distance, it is the great monolith ("Monolitten") that, like a sundial, is marking its shadow with the passage of time. It is a unique block of granite of 17 meters of height that is raised on a staggered octagonal platform and is sculpted with 121 naked and intertwined human figures. Try to separate them with your imagination.

Tjuvholmen Sculpture Park

If you want to have a broad range of photogenic frames in Oslo, approach Aker Brygge, the old shipyard. It is a contemporary area next to the port and the Radhuset (City Hall), bustling, fascinating. Here you can shop, take in something enjoying a great atmosphere and excellent views of the fjord and the medieval fortress of Akershus or visit one of the best contemporary museums in Oslo.

We talk about the Astrup Fearnley Museum of Modern Art. The building of modern architecture houses the Astrup Fearnley collection of modern and contemporary art, which is among the largest in Northern Europe.
The building of the museum, with a glass ceiling in the shape of a sailboat (suitable for its location, next to the sea) was built in 2012. And designed by the Italian architect Renzo Piano, known for works such as the Georges Pompidou Center, The Music Park and the New York Times building.

But if you have to choose a place to sit in the open air that is the Tjuvholmen Sculpture Park next to the Astrup Fearnley Museum. The park was conceived by the same author, Renzo Piano, and includes sculptures of very different shape and meaning, from contemporary authors such as Louise Bourgeois, Antony Gormley, Anish Kapoor, Ellsworth Kelly, Ugo Rondinone, Franz West, Peter Fischli & David Weiss.

There are a few sculptures but of the most original, some so colorful that give a touch of modern painting to the environment and if we explore in the surroundings of the neighborhood we will discover more. The place can only be more photogenic if we are lucky enough to contemplate the sunset from here, overlooking the fjord and its islands, as I had a chance to check recently. An evening of those who do not forget.

Oslo Ekeberg Park

In the middle of the hill, surrounded by the forest, Ekeberg Park is unique and different from the rest. You could introduce yourselves to it and forget that you are in Oslo if it were not because the various viewpoints with the best views of the fjord and the city call us.

In this park, you can have a picnic, eat in a good restaurant, play like children on the swings, play sports or look to the point that inspired Munch to paint "El Grito." And, of course, there are more than 30 sculptures, from the most classic to the avant-garde, with optical effects, in movement and other artistic and audiovisual montages that surprise us in the middle of the forest.
Pic Credit: Anshar Photo

Among them are works of universal art figures such as Salvador Dalí, Auguste Rodin, Gustav Vigeland passing by contemporary artists such as Sarah Lucas, Marina Abramović, James Turrell.

With all this and other places that boast of sculptures, such as the Radhusplassen square between the Town Hall and the harbor, or the great Tiger, located in front of the Central Station or the coquettish Bankplassen. You have the impression that Oslo is a City full of outdoor art.

It has been able to take advantage of its most recognized artists and the newest renovation to have that modern, cosmopolitan and cultural physiognomy on all four sides. It does not matter if we walk the port, in the town center or the hill, in all these places it will surprise us with its sculptures.
Notable Sculptures!

The Cruel Reality Behind Dogs Walking On Two Legs Disguised As Humans! | AIB

Ascribing human characteristics to non-human beings is always amusing right? Dogs disguised as a human being is an enchanting visual pleasure, but when we talk about animals and dark-human-whims, what lies behind the laughter is more dramatic.

It happens with the terrible tortures of which he submitted to the net, although the final result is an instant viral, the kind of video that pushes to be shared thousands and thousands of times by social networks, the reasons are very cruel. A small dog, brown in color that walks on two legs for long Periods of time while wearing disguises of the most varied. The dog runs alongside children like a little human and we all slobber.

However, videos have been shared without much reflection here and there; their fame has allowed videos to emerge in which they can see the causes of his walk. Abuses consisting of an almost Pavlovian game by which the use of the front legs always carries a punishment in the form of hard sneakers. The owners of the dogs cause injuries and abuse them as long as the dog knows that he or she walks on two legs or will get beaten.

Dogs are always adorable, small and hairy body causes that automatically its position with two legs is tender. But physical abuse that drives the dogs to walk artificially on their hindquarters is harmful for them. Almost all dogs are trained in one or another way to do what is biologically uncomfortable or harmful to them. It has known that a quadruped can experience significant pain or discomfort by walking on two legs, which is why even mutilated dogs require rollers or other aids to maintain their quadruped posture. Whether it was through violence or not, the dog adopted posture clearly against nature.

Malicious Subtitles A New Threat From Hackers | AIB

Security researchers recently informed that hackers have the possibility to gain access to your computers through streaming platform subtitles with the malicious code has shown in main media players, can damage your computers.

Security firm Check Point says that a new kind of malware is circulating in fake movie subtitles. If you think you’re loading a subtitle, you are wrong actually what you’re doing is giving a hacker full access to your computer. A malicious software gateway is exploiting an existing vulnerability in popular streaming platforms. A new vector malicious software that does not require any hook like download the attachment of an email or click on a banner, but it happens silently after giving the "play."

The hackers have been quite accomplished giving with this way of entry and especially in the application of the attack, since as we said do not skip any window or it is not mail or message that stirs suspicions. Also, it's vulnerability that currently exists in services such as Popcorn-Time, VLC, Kodi and Stremio among others, so at Check Point estimate that there is a total of 200 million users affected.

How does it will get into our system? The real method is when we download malicious subtitles either by the user or by the streaming service to implement them when viewing content on such platforms. The key is not only to take advantage of the user but also the antivirus will not detect them as malicious files.

And what does it do? While we are watching the movie, the software acts remotely, opening the door to the attacker to take control of our device. In other words, from the moment the subtitle file is opened our computer the attacker gets full control over the target machine. They can see the screen, control the mouse, and run the code, having access to all our information and can install more malicious software.

At the moment, media players with vulnerabilities are VLC, Kodi, Popcorn Time and Stremio, however, CheckPoint does not rule out that other players have similar vulnerabilities. Once the attackers execute the malicious code in the media player, they can then take complete control of the computer, download a ransomware or other malware, as well as use the computer as part of a botnet or extract personal information.

Many of these programs already have an update to fix the vulnerabilities misused by hackers until now. Therefore, updating the software is undoubtedly one of the first measures to be taken into account to be protected, although that does not rule out that other vulnerabilities will find in the future.

NASA's Lightest Satellite, Built by 18-year-old Student | AIB

Rifath Sharook, an 18-year-old from Tamil Nadu is on the verge of creating history if everything goes as planned, in June he will become the designer of the lightest satellite ever placed in the orbit: A carbon fiber device made with a 3D printer that NASA plans to launch in space. He built a satellite that fits into a 4 cm cube and weighs 64 grams and named it after the former president and one of India's nuclear scientists Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam.

Shaarook has won the Cubes in Space challenge jointly organized by NASA and an organization called 'I Doodle Learning.' The idea was pretty simple, but it is within reach of few: the program allows young children between 11 and 18 years to carry out a project from the conception of the same until it is placed in space.

The satellite’s primary purpose is to “demonstrate the performance of 3D-printed carbon” and see if the substance can endure the launch. Mission span will be 240 min, and the miniature satellite will operate for 12 minutes in a micro-gravity environment of space. It will have a new kind of onboard computer and eight indigenous built-in sensors to measure acceleration, rotation and the magnetosphere of the Earth.

Despite coming from a small town of Pallapatti in Tamil Nadu, Shaarook has a long history as an inventor at the age of 15 he also invented a helium weather balloon and won a national contest.

GST Council fixes 4-tier Tax Slab for Goods & Services | AIB

GST (Goods And Sevices Tax) is the newly imposed system of indirect taxation in India that will abolish all indirect taxes levied on goods and services by the central and state govt. It is also clear that there will 'Dual tax system,' both center (CGST) and state govt (SGST) has the power to levy the tax on goods and service. But, state govt not given the authority to collect the tax on imports still it has integrated with central govt on another tax (IGST).

The idea to introduce GST mainly to transform India into one single market that widens the tax base helps in the growth of GDP. GST is a single tax on the supply of goods and services, right from the manufacturer to the consumer. Credits of input taxes paid at each stage will be available in the subsequent stage of value addition, which makes GST essentially a tax only on value addition at each stage. The final consumer will thus bear only the GST charged by the last dealer in the supply chain, with set-off benefits at all the previous stages. Six Yoga Poses To Combat Insomnia For Sound Sleep | AIB

When people suffer from insomnia or have difficulty falling asleep (due mostly to the stress and anxiety that our lifestyle causes), many people tend to use pills or other chemicals that disrupt the body causing it easier to fall asleep.
In addition to these chemicals that often have side effects, there are also natural methods that help our body to go to sleep and fall asleep.

Six yoga stretches to fall asleep and better sleep:

1. Chandra Bhedana Pranayama (Moonbreaker)

The left nasal orifice is associated with the refreshing energy of our body, while the right nasal orifice associated with the heat energy.
This breathing through the left hole helps to push the stress out of mind. Simultaneously, the breath massages the organs related to the dream causing them to send messages of relaxation to the mind so that it conciliates the dream more easily.

How is it done?
• Sit in a comfortable posture.
• Make the deer seal with the right hand (as in the photo), press the right hole with your thumb and inhale through the left hole.
• Stop pressing the right hole with the thumb, with the ring finger press the left hole, and exhale through the right hole.
• We can do this breathing for 1-3 minutes or until we start to feel calm and relaxed.

2. Padangusthasana (Big Toe Pose)

This posture stimulates the liver and kidneys by activating our parasympathetic nervous system, which is responsible for releasing tension and putting our body to sleep.

How is it done?
• Stand with feet apart at hip height.
• Slowly and without losing control tilt the upper body forward.
• Grasp the fat fingers of each foot firmly with the index fingers, heart and thumb of each hand.
• Flexing your elbows, pull the upper body down, lowering the head and relaxing head and neck.
• Breathe deeply and continuously for 1-3 minutes.

3. Agnistambhasana (Fire Log Pose)

As we loosen the hips, our body will respond by releasing the tension of other muscles and organs by preparing the body for the moment of sleep.

How is it done?
• Extend your left leg forward and bend it 90 degrees at knee height.
• Bend the right foot and place it on top of the left knee so that your right leg rests on top of the left.
• If this posture causes pain in the hip joint, bring the left foot closer to the pelvis.
• Bring your hands forward as you exhale increasing the stretch.
• Hold the position for about 1 minute and other legs.

4. Uttana Shishosana (Extended Puppy Pose)

To prevent the effects of the long hours we spend behind a desk, this passive back stretching is ideal as it helps to improve blood circulation, as well as relieve tension and open the shoulders. The gentle massage caused by the contact of the forehead with the floor and it stimulates the pituitary gland, which controls the melatonin and the sleep cycle of our body.

How is it done?
• Start facing down on hands and knees (knees apart just below the hip).
• Keeping your hip on your knees bring your hands forward.
• Keep your elbows raised (without touching the floor) while letting our chest rest and facing down.
• Massage the forehead from left to right to relieve facial tension.
• Hold the position for about 1 minute and release with hip back.

5. Supta Matsyendrasana (Supine Spin)

Inverted and reclined postures such as the supine spin promote sleep by relaxing the baroreflex, a reflex that keeps blood pressure constant.

How is it done?
• Start lying on your back (looking up) and bring your knees to your chest.
• Extend the straight arms to each side of the body and let the knees fall to the right side (left knee on right knee).
• Bring the left shoulder down (back) by letting gravity pull your legs toward the floor.
• For a longer stretch, place your left hand on your right knee and pull it down (with your right arm extended out).
• Hold this posture for several deep breaths (1-3 minutes) and try to relax.

6. Viparita Karani (Legs Up the Wall)

This completely passive stance enables us to concentrate on the conscious relaxation of stretching by preparing the mind for sleep. Also, it has the added benefit of draining bad blood from the legs by cooling the circulatory system.

How is it done?
• Place a block or reinforcement 10 centimeters from the wall.
• Place the sacrum above the reinforcement so that the bones of the buttock occupy the space between the support and the wall.
• Bring your arms straight to the sides, palms facing the sky.
• Maintain this posture for 5-15 minutes.
• Take a mental tour of the whole body trying to relax every muscle or muscle group of the body (springing from the feet and gradually climbing to the muscles of the face).

By practicing these postures, we can improve the quality of our rest: one of the great benefits that Yoga offers us. I wish you a happy and comforting dream.

When people suffer from insomnia or have difficulty falling asleep (due mostly to the stress and anxiety that our lifestyle causes), man...

Google Introduces Android Go, Super-Light OS For Low-End Phones | AIB

Back in 2014, Google made the first bid to overcome emerging markets with Android One, a light version of its mobile operating system. Now they are trying again with a new initiative called Android Go. A version that is debugged to work on devices with more modest specs, 1 GB of RAM or less. On it, you can use the "lite" versions of apps that consume fewer resources and data than their standard versions.

The new Google initiative can define in three crucial points. The first is that it will base on the latest version of Android from the Android O that they are currently developing. They are making sure that all the improvements in performance and stability will get included in the "Lite version."

The operating system will also comprise a series of uniquely adapted pre-installed applications. These will be optimized to consume fewer resources and operate with unstable internet connections, the APK file which weighs less than 10 MB and has better performance in battery and memory. An example will be YouTube Go, which will allow you to download videos when we have a WiFi to watch later at any time.

And the third key point is the Google Play Store. The adapted version that will bring Android Go will also focus on the lightest applications. For example, when we search for the Facebook app, the store will show us Facebook Lite before the Standard app.

Google has also announced that it will open the platform so users can also design their specific apps for Android Go. To do this, they will have to adhere three main terms. Google's goal with this new venture for emerging markets remains the same as with Android One, trying to lure its operating system to the billions of potential users who live in them. In some countries, there are no connections as good as in Europe or America, and no means to afford powerful devices, and it suits best for them.

From Android O, all devices with less than or equivalent to 1 GB of RAM will have Android Go by default. However, it is not expected that this ultra-light version of the system will reach the market until 2018, so throughout this year we will receive new updates and developments of its progress.

Why Is Mother's Day Celebrated? | AIB

Our mother is, surely, the most important being in our lives, she is responsible for taking care of us every day, to feed us, to get up at morning and to see at night that we are sleeping like angels. Every mother has unique bonding with their children a connection that goes beyond everything, which's hard surpassing the rational. The mere presence of the mother is sufficient for the child to calm down. It is the one who gives him the restraint of knowing that there is nothing to worry about: Mom is always here.

History Of Mother's Day Celebration!

Earlier, in the ancient Greece and ancient Rome, Goddess Mother Rea appeared, who then both called her Great Mother. The great importance of the Goddess led to the cult of motherhood; they were celebrating this occasion to honor the Rhea.

Anna Jarvis, Founder of Mother's Day!

According to the story, in the early 1900s, Anna Jarvis, the daughter of Ann Reeves Jarvis, sought in every way to honour her deceased mother. Ann Reeves struggled and worked for her daughter, and so Anna campaigned for her own mother's day. On May 10, 1908, Anna organized and succeeded in celebrating the first Mother's Day in a Methodical Church in Grafton.

For children, Mom will be the person who will awaken their libido and for little girls is a model to imitate. That is why it is normal for the children to use mom's shoes to play, hang their necklaces and play with their dolls to be mothers.

We all have different bonds and relationships throughout our life, but the only one is unconditional is that of the mother, even if the children are adults, it is normal and expect the mother to phone every day.

And with time, when the kids become teenagers they begin their destiny she will be happy. That is why, when we say that there is only one mother, we do not refer to the number, but to the function, she fulfills in our life, regardless of whether the mother is biological or adoptive, her love is the most important thing for us. It is an excellent day for mothers to keep them away from all the household works and responsibilities.

Our mother is, surely, the most important being in our lives, she is responsible for taking care of us every day, to feed us, to get up ...

Why DC's 'Wonder Woman' Movie Is So Important? | AIB

DC is creating their superhero universe that takes everything to another level to compete with Marvel. Since both 'Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice' and 'Suicide Squad' were expected more at the box office both critics and a large part of the public have not reacted enthusiastically now all the attention set on 'Wonder Woman.'

We don't believe that the two previous releases of Warner are a disaster, but some voices are much more critical than the adventures of Marvel and it is inevitable that the fear of coming back to stumble on the same stone. Wonder Woman's latest breakthrough fuels that uneasiness, we believe that Wonder Woman is a symbol of female empowerment because she is one of the few representatives in the world of comics and the only one in "The League of Justice."

Marvel has been ahead in many things to DC, and this last one is trying to catch up to forced marches. That has prevented their foundations from being reliable enough to take for granted that all of their upcoming releases are going to ramp up at the box office. However, Marvel never ended up betting big on any of their superheroines, being unclear that the current film of Black Widow is still in the air.

Wonder Woman, we already saw Gal Gadot become her in 'Batman vs. Superman: The Dawn of Justice.' It was a great appetizer of what the character could give and left us wanting to see her again. In fact, that alone was enough to be more eager to see a solo adventure of her than we ever had with Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow. When DC does something better than Marvel, it is said and done.

However, I have my doubts about that DC has been able to correct all their problems and that 'Wonder Woman' is going to be the movie that shows us that they can outdo Marvel. Does that mean that I hope it will be a disaster and that I will be happy that it will not be? No, but it is a big bet for Warner and DC that deserves a chance if we want an expansion in the treatment of superheroes overdose, we will have to wait until June 2 to get out of that doubt.

Elbow Lets You Play All Your Old School Cassettes | AIB

The new technology always overshadows old ones in an industry that craves new things, some of them will get lost forever. But now some old techs are coming back to life with improved versions, and it seems that is here to stay as many brands are betting on this market begins to make millions of dollars each year.

The good example is Nintendo with its Mini NES, which unaccountably already ceased production, as well as vinyl, many of them in editions of collection and cassettes, which only in 2016 increased sales by 74% in the United States.

Like some old stuff, cassettes also lost their place to make way for compact disc and music players. Today few devices support this format, and we refer this as the old player, but something that is manufactured today for future generations. Here comes to the rescue 'Elbow.'

BrainMonk is responsible for developing the company 'Elbow,' those engaged in selling and promoting independent and experimental music, and are now making the leap to the manufacture of devices to the growing demand for cassettes. The same company defines your device as a "portable cassette player reduced to a minimum."

Elbow is that a small device that is placed on a cassette has a biaxial arm that serves to pay tribute to the record player but now adapted to cassettes. The arm is positioned on the tape thanks to a magnetic head is capable of playing music, the arm is raised to be placed in any of the two holes of the cassette and thus can have access to the sides of the tape.

In the arm, we have a control wheel used to play music, rewind, and adjust the volume. Note that Elbow does not use the old system of capstans and pressure rollers to control the speed of the tape as it is supported by an optical sensor that monitors the movement of the tape to ensure it goes to a constant speed.

Elbow has a rechargeable battery that ensures up to seven days of autonomy, which will get charged via a mini USB port that also serves to transmit music cassette to a computer. Of course, we also have 3.5mm jack headphones, and a pin which serves to attach it to clothing and so have the perfect player.

Right now, there is no timeline for the product release because those responsible are still measuring consumer interest towards this product, which will determine in the coming months its price and a date for selling out.

However, so far the device has aroused lots of interest in netizens. The Elbow presentation video already has more than 1.5 million hits.
